Wicky is a Mac app that checks your trading chart against your own rules. In short: your screenshots go to the AI model to answer you and aren't kept by us, and your History stays on your Mac.
Who we are
Wicky is run by Christopher Milla (ABN 34 813 165 021), a sole trader in Victoria, Australia ("we"). For any question or request about your data, email hello@askwicky.com.
The early-access list
When you join the list we keep your email address, when you joined, which form you used, the country your request came from (Cloudflare tells us that), your place in line, your invite code, and who invited you, if anyone. We use it only to email you about Wicky. To be taken off, email us or use the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
Cookies and ad measurement
We count visits to this site with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and doesn't identify you. The site also loads the Meta Pixel, Google's tag (Analytics and Ads), the X pixel and Whop's pixel, which use cookies and similar identifiers to tell us which ads and posts bring people here and whether they join the list or start a trial. Those companies may combine that with what they already know about you, under their own privacy policies. You can block these cookies in your browser's settings or with a content blocker, and choose how ads are personalised for you in your Meta, Google and X ad settings.
When you go from this site to Whop's checkout, the link carries the campaign tags you arrived with (and an affiliate's code, if a creator sent you), so we know which ad or creator to credit.
Trying Wicky on this site
If you try Wicky at askwicky.com/try, the chart screenshot, setup and question you send go to the AI model to answer you, and we don't keep them. Cloudflare's Turnstile checks that you're a person, not a bot. To limit free tries, we keep a one-way scrambled form of your IP address and the date for a day; it can't be turned back into your address.
The Mac app
- Your questions and charts. When you ask Wicky something, or Auto-watch checks your chart, the app sends a screenshot of the screen or window you chose, your question, your saved strategy (including its example screenshots) and your last few messages to the Wicky server, which passes them to Anthropic's Claude to write the answer. We don't store screenshots or questions on our servers. Anthropic handles them under its commercial terms, which don't allow using them to train its models.
- Your voice. macOS turns your speech into text, on your Mac when it can (most Macs can), otherwise with Apple's speech service. Wicky's spoken answers are made on your Mac.
- Your History. Everything in History, including the screenshots, stays on your Mac. You can delete entries at any time.
- Your license. To sign you in, the server checks your license key with Whop. It keeps a one-way fingerprint of your Mac (a scrambled form of its hardware ID, never the ID itself) so a key works on one Mac at a time, and a count of the checks you've used today.
- Logs. Our server keeps short-lived technical logs, such as errors and timings, to keep it running. They don't contain your screenshots.
Payments
Payments, subscriptions and license keys are handled by Whop. We never see your card details. Whop's own privacy policy covers what you give them.
Who handles your data for us
- Cloudflare hosts this site and the Wicky server, stores the early-access list and license data, and checks that visitors to the demo aren't bots (Turnstile).
- Anthropic runs the AI model that reads your chart.
- Whop handles payments, subscriptions and license keys.
- Meta, Google, X and Whop measure our ads with cookies.
- Apple recognizes your speech when your Mac can't do it on the device.
These companies may process data outside your country, under their own safeguards. We don't sell your data or share it with anyone else, apart from the ad measurement above.
How long we keep it
Only as long as we need it for the reasons above. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or stop our emails, by writing to hello@askwicky.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to your privacy regulator: in Australia the OAIC, in the UK the ICO, in the EU your local data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
